Google brings everything together with ‘Google Play’
Google has launched its new online store called ‘Google Play’. It's intended to be a one stop market place for music, movies, books, applications and other digital media content. Earlier this month the company also re-branded the Android Marketplace to:
‘Google Play Store’, where Google smartphone users go for ‘apps’.

You may have noticed that Google has added 'Google Play' to its home page. In order to get maximum visibility Google has prominently sandwiched its digital store between Maps and YouTube, along with adding a ‘New’ tag to it, in the color Red. There’s no way anyone’s missing seeing this.

Go ahead, check it out & send us your feedback!

You may think its three months too late, we think its perfect for the start of the new financial year. We’ve just launched our Desktop Calendar application. Its a cool app that you download on to your Windows PC or Laptop & it allows you to add any pictures or images of your choice (from your computer) and assign them to the months of the year. The app then refreshes your Desktop Wallpaper with those images as the months change, while also displaying a simple calendar (Day & Month view) for quick access (see sample below).

After 'Gigi’ and ‘Floyd’ now its time to get ‘Lola’ back in time.
Last month, Fanta did something really interesting, with the launch of ‘Timeline for Brand pages’, The soft drink brand, cleverly thought of using the ‘Transition’ feature. They hid its four cartoon characters Gigi, Floyd, Lola and Tristan somewhere on the timeline as a part of their latest social media campaign on their Facebook page.

Right from the first character Gigi, the users were given clues to find out the year of her existence and then to ‘Like’ her back in to the present. After Gigi it was ‘Floyd’ and now it is ‘Lola’. Lola is
stuck in 1975 according to the clues provided. To bring Lola back to the present, fans have to find her picture on the timeline and ‘Like’ the photo 1,975 times.
We think it is a wonderful initiative to use Facebook Timeline in order to keep users coming back to a particular Brand Page; to actually find a character on the Timeline and ‘Like’ it to bring it back in time and complete the cover photo.
